SHYTTE CREEK

Trout Lake, Michigan

2026
8TH ANNUAL SHYTTE CREEK BRIDGE WALK
SHYTTE KICKIN’ HOEDOWN
Boots, Bridges & Bad Decisions

Sunday, September 6th

Cornhole Tournment @ 11 AM
Bridge Walk & Live Music @ 1 PM

The annual Shytte Creek Bridge Walk is held on the Sunday before Labor Day in Trout Lake Township, located in Chippewa County in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula.

The mildly impressive Shytte Creek Bridge is a wooden structure spanning approximately 40 feet across Shytte Creek. Locals and tourists alike are invited to come give a Shytte—and cross it!

No paddle required.

Cross the bridge any way you like—just no skipping! Come alone, bring a friend, or drag along your crazy Uncle John. Need a hand crossing Shytte Creek? We have you covered! Ride across in style aboard the FREE Shytte Shuttle.

Rain or shine, the Shytte goes on!

This is a free community event!

The Cornhole Tournament begins at 11:00 AM. Registration is $20 per person, with cash and prizes for the winners. Register online or at the event.

The 8th Annual Shytte Creek Bridge Walk and live music begin at 1:00 PM, featuring Derek Caruso & The Blues Fuse.

A silent auction, Shytte shirts, and other Shytte Creek merchandise will also be available, with all proceeds benefiting local nonprofit organizations.

Bring a chair, relax, and enjoy the music!

Come celebrate eight years of giving a Shytte—and become a Shytte Creek Survivor!
